“Baseball America” 2011 Draft Update

The talk preseason was about how UConn was a team that possessed two sure-fire first round picks on its roster.

Baseball America just released their Midseason Top-50 for the 2011 MLB Draft, and sure enough George Springer and Matt Barnes are right at the top of the list:

2011 Stats: 36 G (36 GS), .348 BA, 16 2B, 5 HR, 43 RBI, 16-22 SB

“How deep is 2011? Barnes would have been in the running to be top college pitcher drafted in 2010.”
